Tom Saylor has served as CEO of several biotech companies, both in Europe and Asia. Most recently he was CEO of Arecor Limited, a British company focused upon enabling the next generation of therapeutic proteins and vaccines through advanced formulation technologies. He currently serves on several university advisory boards. Previously, he was CEO of Sirus Limited, a drug targeting and delivery company based in Cambridge, England. Prior to joining Sirus, he was Chairman and founder of Lotus Healthcare Corporation, an Asian-based fully integrated pharmaceutical company. He was also actively involved in development of public policies as Chairman of the SME Platform and Vice-Chairman and a member of the board of EuropaBio. Tom was an appointee in the administration of President Carter as COO of the Foreign Agriculture Service where he led United States negotiations on commodities and advisor to Senator Hubert Humphrey on trade policy. He holds a BS degree in Biology from Georgia Tech and MBA from Harvard University.
